Find your starting point
Gyeongsangbuk-do offers two distinctive starting points in our collection: Gyeongju’s Silla heritage and Andong’s village traditions. Give each city time instead of compressing both into one day.
Gyeongju for ancient heritage walks; Andong for a carefully planned Hahoe Village excursion.

Where to go in Gyeongbuk

Gyeongju 경주
Ancient Silla heritage gives Gyeongju its distinctive rhythm. Royal tomb mounds and Cheomseongdae sit within a walkable central sightseeing area, while major temples farther out deserve their own transport plan.

Andong 안동
Andong is a starting point for traditional village culture and Confucian heritage. Hahoe Village is outside the city center, so plan the return journey before lingering among its historic homes and river scenery.
